Position: Performance Engineer

This position will primarily be responsible for monitoring rig performance, executing performance improvement solutions, project management of rig upgrades, and supporting customer needs for data analysis.Job Description:

  • Support the customer's drilling engineers assigned to a dedicated rig.
  • Performance analysis of drilling rig and drilling ancillary services with respect to quality and availability of tools and manpower.
  • Benchmark operational performance and cost performance.
  • Liason between customer and client.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field including but not limited to Engineering and/or 3-5 years’ prior experience working in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven drilling engineering experience with competence in well design and drilling operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, and familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent problem solving, presentation, and communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of completing data analytics & providing solutions based on findings.
  • Self-starter, motivated and takes the initiative to find and complete projects.
  • Can work well in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Proficient at time management, organizational, has the ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at a time.
  • May require project management skills and capability to organize and implement a field upgrade.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time and work in office and field environment
